Multi-branch inventory management shows what stock sits at each location, who is holding it, and where it should be moved, so one branch does not run out of what another is overstocked on.
A second branch does not double the work. It introduces a new problem: your stock is in the wrong place, and nobody can see that it is.
Where it is, and who has it
Location and custody answer different questions. Custody tells you who is holding a unit. Location tells you where it sits. Keeping them apart matters more than it sounds, because a handset held by an agent working out of Mombasa is still Mombasa's stock.
